Hi,
while booting , ASUS P4BPMX motherboard directly goes to C-MOS setup and showing that CPU speed changed. Almost 90% motherboards are showing this problem. We changed new battery and also updated bios firmware. but problem still existing. have any permanent solutions?

To solve this problem, please check your keyboard/ mouse.
If it is not working properly, this problem may happen.
    This is my small hope.
    Try it.

    Hello,
I have a machine with the same problem but not from Asus and having Amibios. Encountering this problem I just open the CPU speed tab of CMOS setup and come out. Save CMOS values by save and exit. On restart system boots smoothly.
    Try this.

You please check the compatibility of that mother board in MBD manual, it may not be suitable for your processor, if so it will reduce ur system performance also
