windows 2003 Client logon

we are using windows SBS premium as a server and all client machiene are windows XP, but all the Client Machiene taking
4-5 minuts to logon, any tips to reduce the logon time

    Try to clarify ur problem clearly, as i understand from your doubt is that u r using domain and clients, clients are taking time to logon to the server, First of all u have to check ur client network properties, in the clients TCP/IP settings u have to give server IP address as the Default Gateway…

    saving settings or making netowkr connections, where exactly it is?

    Ranjith did u check this problem as per my request, I had faced this same problem before some months, bt am solved using the same method what is said specifying the server address in clients. Thing is that, the when the client system starts it will look for the server to which it has to login, so if we specified that server address in our network properties, then it will logon very fast to the system…. i had tried it yaar, if it not work with gateway, u please try the same with DNS

    i tried to put server ip on client dns server
    now it is working fine thanks for the help
